- How soon after a storm should I get the roof looked at?
- Sooner is better. Hail and wind damage doesn't always leak right away, but it shortens the life of the roof, and most policies have a time limit on how long you have to report it.
- What does a storm inspection cost?
- Nothing. We climb up, photograph whatever we find, and go over it with you. If the roof came through fine, that's what we'll tell you.
- Can you tell storm damage from normal wear?
- Usually, yes. Hail leaves a different pattern than age does, and wind damage tends to show along the edges and ridges first. We document what we see with photos so you can look at it yourself instead of taking our word for it.
- Do I have to file a claim?
- No. Plenty of the work we do is paid out of pocket. If what we find looks like something your policy would cover, we'll say so, and where it goes from there is your call.
